Our Core Beliefs
About God:
There is only one eternal God, the Creator of all things. He is one God, existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4, 2 Corinthians 13:14)
About the Bible:
The Bible is the completed Word of God, and that it is our authority for what we believe and what we do. (Psalm 119:9-16, John 17:17, 2 Timothy 3:16-17)
About Sin:
All have sinned and are thus naturally separated from God. (Romans 3:23, Isaiah 59:2) Apart from the grace of God, all of us have earned a place in hell because of our sin. (Romans 6:23, Revelation 21:8)
About Salvation
Salvation from sin and its penalty is by God’s grace alone, received by faith in the finished work of Christ alone. (Acts 16:31, Romans 3:28, Ephesians 2:8-9)
Once someone accepts Jesus as their personal Saviour, they immediately become God’s child, and can enjoy His Friendship, and will someday be with Him in heaven forever. (John 1:12, 10:28, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)
About Church:
The church is not a building, but an assembly of God’s children who worship God together, minister to one another, and reach out to their community by proclaiming the Gospel and showing His love to others. (Romans 12:3-8, Matthew 28:18-20)
